Continuous Data Protection
The implementation of Continuous Data Protection (CDP) will add some cost and complexity to the solution but has the advantage of reducing the Recovery Time Objective (RTO) to minutes as files are backed up as soon as they are saved. Continuous data protection can be implemented on file servers, Exchange servers and most database applications.
Continuous data protection can be implemented through the use of software agents or Snapshots.
